![]() He turned, letting out a strangled yelp of shock upon seeing a strange white goo blob snapping its ‘jaws’ at him, oozing its way nearer. It was like nothing he had ever seen! It was so cool! He whipped out his camera, starting to snap pictures before he heard a sound like a bag of wet spaghetti splatting against a wall. The light grew brighter, drawing Aiden like a moth to the flame, revealing a huge room, with old ladders, climbable rock formations, ledges, floors, all illuminated by strange glowing crystals. He had seen some light deeper in the caves, through a small tunnel which he wormed his way through. That sucked, but he was sure his flashlight could take him a little deeper still before he had to return outdoors. He’d gone deep into this cave, deeper than he thought he could go, but his flashlight was starting to die out, and when he tried to change the batteries he dropped the new ones, which rolled into a small crevice to never be seen again. Some people encouraged him, other called him an idiot, but he didn’t care about them, he just liked exploring. Well, an hour away, but that wasn’t too far for an explorer like Aiden! He loved finding abandoned cities or parks and exploring them, taking photographs and sharing his love of new places with everyone online. Aiden shook his flashlight, whacking it against his hand a few times to get the batteries to readjust to a reasonable level of light as he descended further into the caves he’d found not too far from his town. ![]()
